I don't reload, and factory 6.5x55 seems to run a little slower than the 6.5 CM. Just wondering if anyone has one and what they're findings are.

The Barnes TSX 55 gr and Hornady Spire Points 55 gr both...

Anyone shoot one less than 22"?

CZ's are a favorite of mine, and their 557 comes with a 20.5" barrel. For a medium speed cartridge, is that too much speed/energy loss at 400 yds?

If you were shooting a 20" barrel, which caliber would you prefer? Hornady's eld-x looks good in all three but shows data for 24" barrels.
