I have an EZ Go Beast at my place and a BBB at home. Both work well for me. If you go electric, pay strict attention to breaking in and maintaining the batteries and they'll last several years.

They may not be the best choice for a dedicated long range target rifle, but you don't always have the time to tweak turrets in a hunting situation, and IMO that's where the Nikon BDC reticle shines....
