7-08 with a brake would be hard to beat for your application. If it's a 30 caliber minimum, then 308 with a good brake recoils like a 223. Just have to be diligent with ear protection.

No crimp. It’s a full 100 thou from there. Scale is an MTM electronic. It generally warms up for 10 minutes or so while I set everything else up. Always check with a cal weight before i start.
