I had a catahoula for 10 years and he was a great blood tracking dog. He even found a few wounded deer that honestly were not mortally wounded but kept them at bay (or even physically pinned down )...

I am ashamed to say i shot myself in the foot with a bowfishing rig when i was about 15 or so. It was a low poundage rig but still went right through. I was shooting carp off some cliffy banks...

All the exotic deer and antelope are great. Aoudad is edible but needs to be aged, and typically ground into sausage or meat sticks. Most people not knowing otherwise say it tastes like beef....
