Carrying rifle next weekend

I thought I had read something a few months ago that we were allowed to bring a rifle for pigs while bow hunting deer. Reason I ask is I hunt a trail, but my feeder I can see 200 yards away in a creek bottom that has had pigs quite a bit.

Is this correct?

It doesn't.

They removed the part about needing LTC to have a pistol with you during archery season. You may now have a gun with you you just can't shoot game animals during bow season.

I confirmed this with my local warden on the phone last week. I was asking about taking a suppressed with NV 22 for coon control post hunt. Nothing illegal about it per him.

You can carry anything you want. Just don't shoot a deer with it.
