Houston Zoo

Went to the Zoo with the wife & kiddo Friday. Got to snap a few shots. Tried to focus more on the family and not get lost in photography, though I may go back by myself one day and spend some more time shooting. It's a fun spot to practice.

Most of my closeups were taken with the 70-200F4. I would say it did OK, not great. Probably should have splurged for the F2.8 with IS.

About five seconds after I put my camera down, that gorilla beat his chest and let out a roar like I have never heard. Would have made for a great shot! Maybe next time.
