What's on your wrist?? I'll start

Rolex
GMT Master
1675
This is the finest example I've ever seen as a complete package.. Owner was in Vietnam during the war and made the purchase in between tours.. He has since passed and left it in care of his wife she later passed on to her son. A precious possession from the past.

One day I will start the story, but I don't think it will be with this one...

It will be with an Omega or Rolex.

CRM_95 07-17-2016 10:38 AM

Lol here it is. It's a Timex Expedition. Not real expensive but come to think of it I've worn it about 5 or 6 years now with no problems.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...363d6c1da8.jpg

Stopped wearing a watch long ago... Like not having anything on my wrist but considering a garmin watch that is GPS capable and displays coordinates... Price and battery life are holding me back....

I haven't worn a watch since I started carrying a Motorola V60 flip phone about 10 years ago. I've moved a bit beyond the flip phone however. :)

How does the Fitbit work and is it worth the money?

No watch or bracelet for me. Never have liked them. They always seem to be getting in the way or on my nerves for various reasons.

This is my second Garmin watch. I've had the Fenix 2 and now this the Fenix 3 HR. Neither of them had a bad battery at all especially considering the features I use on them daily.

The Fenix 2 lasted 13 days out at NTC in CA and was used multiple times a day for GPS and getting grids for targets and as an alarm clock and timer.

The Fenix 3 HR is a step counter and all day HR monitor. Use it daily for different types of workouts, bike rides, runs, walks, kayaking etc. and only charge it about once a week if that.

Does the Fenix 3 require a chest strap for HR??

Blood Sport........I also have Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch dated 1959.

My uncle bought it while in the military overseas. After his death my dad got it and wore it for 20 years(every day watch).

My father passed in 1993 and it has been on my wrist all day every day since then. Amazing time piece with a lot of sentimental value.

It's not very big in size. 36mm and really super easy to wear. Originally sold for about $150 bucks. I'm a fan because it runs without batteries, automatic and gains power by everyday movement of your arm. Keeps perfect time..

I'm working with a friend to do a custom camo for hunting this year...

txoutdoorsman24 07-17-2016 01:05 PM

Nice watches fellas. I can't wear one. Just never been my thing.

But here is my daily wrist attire.
Fitbit charge HR
3 hair ties for my daughter
And "Custom" made bracelet from my daughter

I received this watch after my father passed away in 2008. The watch was bought by my mother for him in the early 70's specifically because of the anti magnetic resistance as a few trips to a job site he had to some turbine work he was doing in a hydro electric dam wasted a few watches and credit cards. The watch stayed on his wrist daily for 30+ years until his death and had been around the world more than once, with Antarctica being the only continent it hasn't touched. When I received the watch, it came without any pomp or circumstance, just the watch head on a plain velcro band (the kind you can buy 10 for $5.00). Just like my old man; all steak, no sizzle. I did eventually source the correct band and end links and now is stays with me. A daily reminder of him.

Switch between a gshock and a citizen. Some day I might get a Rolex or similar! Not quite in bank account right now ;)
No pictures of either right now. The gshock is sure beat to crap though! Welding doesn't agree with the face.
