Caliber Change Advice

I’ve got a barreled 700 short action magnum that I’m going to rebarrel to 6.5 prc. Who would y’all recommend doing the work that’s going to be around the $700 mark driveout. Would you let a barrel manufacturer do the work or order the barrel and have it done elsewhere. Thanks for any advice.

My gunsmith is about$1000 for a Walther lotbor barrel change drive out after everything including threading.

Those are my top choices off the top of my head generally and all should be close to that 700 mark you are looking for. Not necessarily in that order.
