I was in the mood to tinker, and build something this evening, so I built a broadhead specifically for birds, and primarily for shooting turkey in the neck/head.
This is an 85 grain NAP 2 blade Spitfire expandable ground down, keeping the blades intact, to be a screw point adapter for a Zephyr Sasquatch broadhead.
With some creative cutting, and grinding I got it down to 175 grains total weight, which is perfect since that's what I shoot.
When assembled, the Sasquatch holds the Spitfire blades locked into their fully open position.
The Sasquatch has a 1-1/2" wide cut.
The Spitfire has a 1-5/8" wide cut.
It's nothing like the Magnus Bullhead, or the Gobbler Guillotine, but should work pretty darn good.
It spins true, and shoots great.
