Best Rifle for Nilgai, Elk, Aoudad, & Oryx

What caliber rifle would you build specifically for Nilgai, Elk, Aoudad, & Gemsbok (aka "Oryx" in New Mexico)?

I like my 7mm, has taken Aoudad and elk without any problems.

How does the 300 Win Mag kick compared to a .308?

Grow up and play with the big boys....

                    .300 RUM

With my suppressor it is about the same as a .308.

Without........It will leave bruises and make you second guess the rifle. .300 Winny.....a little less than that.

Took my nilgai bull with a 7 mag 139 grain bullet. Quartering away at 350 yards. Ran about 75 yards
Hunting partner shot his with a 270 quartering away at about 200. Ran about 50 yards.

With this being said if you plan on hunting than and picking your shots and being patient you can get by with any average rifle
If your gonna be riding in a truck after them and chunking lead then bigger is better

.300 RUM or .30-.378 are great rounds. .375 H&H (Ruger etc) is a good choice as well (but obviously not as flat for longer shots). I know, others shoot a .22 Hornet and they are just as dead . . .

300 mag of your liking with 180gr or better in a premium bullet of your choice. 200gr Nosler Partitions would be my choice.
