Where's the best place to stay in Fredericksburg???

Bunches of places. The last place we stayed was at Alamo Springs, "The Barn". It is right across the road from Alamo Springs Café and within walking distance of the viewing for the bats. I will go back as it is a very nice, quiet, cozy place with a very comfortable king size bed, whirlpool tub and separate shower. Not a huge place, but for 2 people, it was just right! -
Fredricksburg Suite and Inn. We loved it. Close enough to town to walk to and from. Rooms were some of the cleanest I've ever stayed in.Comment

We stayed there this past weekend. I’ve stayed at a lot of B&B’s in Fredericksburg and this was hands down the best one yet.

Make sure you go to the Elk Store and try their Peacan Pie moonshine. That is some of the smoothest you will find. Made in the backroom there.Comment

Baron's Creek is my fave. Hilmy and Becker are good. I used to like Grape Creek...but they got all stuffy there and the atmosphere is not as good as the rest of the wineries.Comment
