To me bowhunting has always been about relationships. It sounds like you and your brother had a great one! I love the reminders of those early awkward hunts, sitting on limbs etc. Those "basket racks" were some amazing trophies for sure!!! I pray blessings upon your family

Sorry to hear. My dad died a few weeks ago and I feel close to him whenever I'm out in the woods or at our hunting camp. The time we spent hunting together was priceless.

So nice to hear about close family members hunting, fishing, and just hanging out. That's how it should be. Treasure them while you have them and let them know you love'em. Sorry for your loss, prayers up.

So sorry to hear that you lost your brother. I too lost mine some years ago. Like you, we hunted and fished together every chance we got. I pray that God allows your brother to be with you in spirit every time you go to the woods or to the water.

Sorry to hear about you loss. I have two brothers and understand the bond between brothers. You can me mad as hell at them but at the same time no one else better lay a hand on one of them.

It touches my heart that so many pour their feelings out for my loss and share their sad moments from similar events. A few brought more sad moments that turned to a smile, knowing that humanity, in the toughest moments, usually hang together.

As I said before, cherish all the moments you have together with friends, family, and yeah, sometimes even those that may aggravate you a bit here and there.

Aw man! That is a punch in the gut, and I hate it for you. As said above, cherish the memories!

Life is short folks! Eat your dessert first!

God bless. I lost my father and original hunting partner in August. I'm reminded of him and our time together every time I go outside. My son is a little too young to go hunting, but I'm trying to get him interested with squirrel hunting, shed hunting and turkey calling. I sure do wish Dad could go with us.
