Made a trip up to the lease with the old man for the weekend and decided to stretch out the legs on the 257 wby on some bacon.
The shot was a little later then I'd like but that's why I upgraded to the swaro and felt comfortable enough with my rest to give it a whirl. 402 yards later she only made it 50 yards.
I'll admit the speed of the 257 makes the shot easier then it appears however 400+ yards wasn't imaginable for me a few years ago so it's a neat feat to accomplish.
Set up is a Remington 700 cdl with the wood stock exchanged for a skim bedded B&C. Timney trigger, Swaro Z3, and a crux ark30 on the end.
