My son and grandson (5 years old) came to the lease on Saturday and hunted with me in my bow ground blind. We had a spike come in Saturday night at about 30 yards but never gave my grandson a good side view. We got up early Sunday morning and was about to leave when a big doe came in at 70 yards and gave him a great side view, he shot her with a 223! Smoked her!
I have hunted with my son for many years, but having the opportunity to be with both of them when my grandson harvested his firs deer was amazing.
