    British Columbia Trapline Trip

Can't say how much I was looking forward to this adventure. Booked back in 2016 and finally went last week. I have wanted to hunt and trap wolves for a long time. This trip offered both. We finally got the big dog in a leg hold on day 6 of 6.

Jack and Lloyd Hooper have been running a trapline for 17 years and the amount of knowledge I gained on this time honored tradition was everything I had hoped for. The trip was full of highs and one low ( I missed the wolf we ended up trapping on Wednesday morning and was beating myself up over blowing that chance pretty bad).

The final tally for the trip was

    1 wolf
    3 lynx
    3 coyote
    4 Marten
    1 Fisher
    1 Wolverine
    3 weasels

Agree. It was fun following along. The wolf is huge! How were those boots in the cold?

Thanks bud. My feet never got cold. I was worried about that more than anything. The Rocky 1200 gram Thinsulate with a foot warmer on the bottom of each sock did the trick everyday. I wore Thermal socks and First Lite wool socks. Didn't notice a real difference there.
