    6x7 bow blind

Officially started my blind build today. I'm building a 6x7x6 bow blind for the lease for me and the wife to hunt out of next fall. This will be a slow build I'm going to take my time work on it when I feel like it and do it right. Any comments or suggestions are welcome with this build. I'll post pics often and try to keep y'all up dated.

You may want consider the frame height of 6.5 rather than 6
Depending on how much your floor and inside ceiling braces may reduce your overall inside height

We built one that was 6 foot height on outside of frame, framed out of 1.5 inch square tubing frame and added 3/4 plywood flooring and had issues with taller hunters bumping head slightly
Because inside height from top of floor to bottom of ceiling frame was about 5' 8"
Just a thought to consider when building

Very true I had already considered making the inside dimensions 6'6" tall I was justified trying to keep it as small as possible for heating purposes. My girls are cold natured.

E-Z tower elevator brackets. I'm really pleased with the way they turned out.

                  Thank you

It is. You might have to come help me un load it though it's already getting heavy

Depending on your plans for frame work, i used 2x4 and ripped them in half helps bring cost down lil, as well as makes each wall not quite as heavy when trying to lift up on the platform.

I had planned on framing out of 2x2's. Is it cheaper to rip 2x4's?

2x2 inside framing is plenty and cuts down on the cost, but more on the weight.
