Took a trip with my Dad to big bend about 2 months ago, had a good time but it was already pretty hot, we did see 3 black bears(no pics though..i know it didnt happen..
).

We used to travel from Nacogdoches to Terlinga every year for the world chili cook offs.
That country has a very rugged beauty to it.

My favorite outdoor spot in Texas.
I don't believe that is El Capitan, Eric. El Capitan is in Guadelupe Mountains. Casa Grande, maybe?
