Shed or hunting cabin with plans

the floor consist of outer joists are 2X8. The inner are 2X6 with 3/4" plywood on top. All joists have 2X6 hangers.

Is the floor treated plywood?
Any particular reason you went that route?

all the floor is treated, I used bigger joist for the outer walls for the load off the walls. and the inner joist smaller to keep cost down.

I'm just curious why you chose treated ply for the floor.
Not that it's a bad idea, I just hadn't seen too many done that way.

It will still gather moister under it. It being treated will keep the floor from getting soft.

Now That I know you are a home builder I will be asking all sorts of questions. I am planning on building a hunting / weekend cabin.


so in a cabin I would go with built up 2X12 beams under the 2X6 deck.
