I agree!...I will take a less than 5 star recruit who wants to be on the team and is willing to work for it over a highly recruited athlete who has no pride in the school that is giving him/her an opportunity that most anyone else would appreciate and will likely not stick around to earn his/her degree or ever return to pay it forward for future athletes and/or scholars.
