Kids In Public School.....How's The Covid-19 Infection Rate?

Alvin ISD: We've got 30 students and 7 staff as of today.

The majority of students are in High School. What's it looking like in your area?

We have had 0 cases at my daughter's school, so far. I have heard that some of the other campuses have had a few cases though. Forney ISD

We've had zero student/faculty cases but there was a vendor who tested positive who had visited the school after instruction hours. This is SST in Spring.

Boerne ISD started in person school on Aug. 14th. Just finished 9 weeks. Boerne Champion HS has had 7 or 8 cases in that time. No big deal at all. Thank God Boerne started early and didn’t believe all the media BS. The kids need to be in school.

We get email's almost every day of another kid contracting it at my son's high school.

Katy and Thompkins just had to reschedule their football game this week due kids testing positive.

Have y'all heard of any serious ( hospitalizations ) with any students?

We don't get that type of details here?

Every time there is a case (or more?) we get a form letter via email from the school. Seems like we get a couple of these per week but not sure what the total number we have had and/or currently have is.

See if your school districts have a dashboard (I call it a score board) like this.

We got an email about a positive case at our kids elementary school the first day they went back (we were like here we go), but haven't gotten another one since. Makes me wonder if they changed their notification policy. This is KISD

Richardson TX district numbers below. We have zero active at my kids school. And parents are still emailing the principal ****** the kids can't use the playground equipment. I just want to keep the kids in school, not worried if they can use the monkey bars!
