    Voter Turnout Thread

For those who have gone at voted, what have you seen at the polling location?

I just went to vote. Ended up leaving, the line was hundreds of people long. Heard folks in the car ahead of me yelling "Trump" from their car, and lots of thumbs up from folks in line. There were a lot of Kim Ogg/Lizzie Fletcher signs, and significantly fewer Biden signs outside the polling center.

The voting location was at I-10 and Kirkwood in Houston, an area that is typically democrat.

Drove by the Katy library at 6:40 and there were already lots of folks in line. I drive by there a couple times a day so will just wait until I see it not crowded. We have until Oct 30 to early vote so the lines should die down eventually. I'd guess after a couple of days.

my polling location is right beside the middle school where one of my teenagers (8th grade)goes. he asked me a minute or so ago if voting started today because there is a line all the way into the school pickup line of people.....gonna swing by at 1 and hope it has died down.

So is it true Abbott limited the number of early polling places per county? It seems like there are fewer places open this year to vote early in Fort Bend as compared to years past.

Early voting going on at the library on Heimer Rd here in SA. Line was so long it was around the building and down a side road so far I could not see the end of it. I’ll give it a couple days.

I got there around 7:30am this morning and probably left around 9:30. It only took about 15 seconds to actually vote so what in the tarnation took everyone so gd long!

The line wrapped around the building and then around the parking lot and out to the road. When I got in the building there was a maze of tables zigzag'n all through the building and hallways. Lots of people and lots of democrat 'looking' people were in line.

Sounds similar to the 2016 election. Long lines at early voting locations the first several days. We ended up voting the 2nd weekend that early voting was open and waited maybe 15 minutes.

Early voting is open up through October 30th. I think the wife and I will do the same this go round and give it a week or so to slow down.
