Howdy all!
Long time lurker not much on posting but love the stories and knowledge from all at TBH. Was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on fall planting. Long story short we moved out east from DFW and have enjoyed every part of the ride since the move. We have a few deer that hit the corn feeder at the back of our place and several bucks that cruise the pipeline on the property south of me. I got a wild hair to try and plant a plot and have prepared the ground to do so. I have yet to throw my seed but the ground is ready for it at anytime. First time planting a plot of any kind and want to make sure i get the seed out at the right time for the best results possible. As my 5 year old son would say "We need BUCKS"! Was wondering if any seasoned planters could share their knowledge. There is a 40% chance of rain Thursday and we have had about 8-9 inches over the last few weeks. Planting East Texas Seed Company's Best Buck seed this first go round. Any and all advise is always appreciated! Thanks for all the stories and knowledge from all at TBH!
