TPWD usually gets these mailed out to me within a week or so after I buy a new license in August. I know I can download the pdf but wondering if mine got lost in the mail or they are just a bit behind. Did you get yours yet?

Check with your wife. Mine had my book in her car for about two weeks before I found it.

Got mine just in a couple days after buying the permit. Just call them. They will send you one.
