Looks like a good deal considering I paid 8.50 a 50# at the feed store in Mertzon.

Yep, I generall buy mine there, but my son got some there with weevil holes in the kernals. Didn’t see any weevils though. Hope they ain’t in there because I filled two feeders with it.

Had this issue with corn from Tractor Supply a couple yrs ago !

They are always the cheapest corn around here. It is pretty clean corn as well. I want the feed store to be cheaper but they are way higher!

FYI their computer keeps track of your purchased corn so you don’t have to buy in multiples of 10 bags. When you hit the 10th bag it automatically credits you even if it is. Ext time you buy.

It is the cleanest corn I have ever seen. The only problem is that it's in the plastic weave bags and that strip sewn into the top that you should just pull off to open never works and you have to have a knife to cut the bag open. Already hazardous enough standing on tailgate filling in the heat of the day

Support your local feed store!

I would love to but the problem is they are $2.70 per bag more and the corn kernels are so small it looks like popcorn with way to much stalk it the bag to do well in a feeder. I can’t justify $19 more per feeder (7 bags each) for crappy corn. The feed store has to do better than that for me to use them. Plus Brookshires is open on Sunday afternoonwhen I often fill feeders and the feed store is not.

I guess even with buying at Brookshires I can feel good about supporting local company since they are from Tyler.
