    6.8 spc ii options

Looking at adding a 6.8 spc ii to the arsenal. It will be mainly used for night stalks using thermal. 200 yards and in. Will eventually be suppressed. Would like to be on the lighter side. Which off the shelf ar would you buy? Lwrc, Wilson, etc etc man there are way to many or could you build your own for cheaper or at least same price and be better suited? School me

Checkout Bison Armory. They made mine and I’ve been very pleased over the past few years I’ve had it.

Bison is who I'd recommend also.
To answer your question I would build mine, to my taste, with the quality of parts I'd want over buying factory upper.

Another vote for Bison. I got the 16” and it’s pretty handy

I would take the time to build, as that way you can get it totally set up the way you want, from stock to trigger. Rainier barrels or X-Calibre Barrels for accuracy.

I have an Armalite 6.8 spc and it is very light. Wish my AR10 was same weight but its a lot heavier.

That lwrc 6.8 reaper is a bad mamajama. I think they came out with the razorback 2 now. That bronze color is nice.

Old Man just picked up an LWRC Six8-Razorback II with a spiral fluted 16” barrel. Put Vortex Razor HD Gen 2, 1-6x24 and so far its a great gun.

My wife is pretty handy with it.

I put together a lower of my liking and then topped it off with an upper from ar15performance.com

This right here! Mine is my GO-TO rifle for about everything now. It is a tack driver and absolutely top of the line for this specific caliber. ARP-16 is what I have...

Anyone shot either of these 243 ARs? Think that'll be my next one to reach out a little.

I'm using one of their 18" and 12.5" barrels.
                          Happy with both of them.
