Ride to Big Bend

Leaving on bikes 2nd week of April and looking for input on best route from east of Dallas. Not in a great hurry and will probably throw sleeping bags and hammocks. Also if anyone wants to join all are welcome. Calling it a making memories trip 🤟

We went last spring but I would say the road from Balmorhea to Alpine was pretty scenery

A ways out of the way but I really enjoyed it

Not sure how we came back but the route went through Stephenville

Second Davis Mountains. Stay in Ft. Davis and make the scenic loop around the mountains early in the morning or late in the afternoon to see wildlife. The road from Terlingua to Presidio is pretty scenic once you are out there.
