    Red Wasp Sting medicine

So if / when you all get stung by these demons, how do you treat it?

We always put gasoline on a rage and hold it on the sting!

My great aunt would always break open a cigarette and wet the tobacco and hold it on there.

Depending on the location of the sting, I normally have to go to the ER and get a few shots.

Slice an onion and rub on the sting. Seems to cool the burning.

Got one caught in my MC helmet once and it got me about 7-8 times in the right temple. Made it to the ER with about 15 minutes of my life remaining.

Took one to the ear once and seriously had balance issues for an hour or so. Benadryl.

Antihistamines are what I have always been told to use for most types of insect stings and jellyfish stings.

I have found, if you get stung enough, you get to the point getting stung does not bother you. Or at least with me. Still not fond of the whole concept of those evil flying devils nailing me with that pointe thing they have. Yellow jacket stings don't bother me much at all anymore, same with honey bees and jellyfish. Red wasps and scorpions definitely get my attention, but usually 15 minutes later, I don't hardly notice that I was stung.

Popped 3 times last summer on my arm and once on the thumb knuckle. Picked a branch up not realizing a nest was in it. My arm and hand were numb for 2 days. Swelling was nasty. You could press on a spot and it was like a memory foam/gell mattress from all of the fluid buildup. I took Benadryl. It hurts yes but continued on.

2 yrs ago one flew into my son's mouth and popped him. That was almost an ER visit. Luckily swelling went down quick.

I got stung on my thigh and on the cheek, both times it was like getting slapped with a hockey stick...hurts bad...but, it goes away w/in 15 minutes maybe. Until then it can be aggravating for sure!

This ! Copenhagen is best, but Grizzly will do. They will quit hurting quickly. If you can't reach them, then you're outa luck !
