First Attempt at real pictures from D60

Hey guys, I have been looking at this bridge for two years in the winter and wanting to take a good pic of it. I finally had a chance tonight to get to do it. Let me know what you think and what I can do differently, either photoshop or taking more pics. First 3 are with cross star 8 point filter, last two are without. Thanks for looking!

They look great! What was your shutter speed? It might be cool to do a time exposure while a car is passing.

I believe my shutter speed was around 9 seconds. I set it on aperture priority, f4. Its actually a foot bridge though, so no cars. But that would have been a great shot.

First or next to last stand out for me.

First is just plain old 'cool'. The others, I seem to focus on the yellow light right away pulling me away from the rest of the pic. The next to last removes all that and gives the bridge to look at.

BTW - what's all that white stuff in the river?

                      all great shots though

Is it okay to edit your photographs? I can post two neat ways to enhance them.

This is Conroebait's wife. Here is the picture for you! What do you think? I used some Lucis, levels, curves, and saturation. I tried to do a cool b/w, but it just wasn't working out too well... Lemme know if you like it. PM me and I can email you the file.
