    300 bo bolt action suppressed

Thinking bout a 300 BO bolt action with an integrated suppressed barrel. What brand gun to go with?
what would a gun like that cost...ball park?

Any suggestions as to who to use to build it? I know next to nothing about suppressed rifles. But would like one before I retire.

I don't have an integrally suppressed blackout, but for the price, you can't beat the Ruger American Ranch. 16" factory threaded barrel and it won't break the bank. It's an accurate little gun, my suppressor is still in jail so I haven't been able to shoot it yet suppressed.

      Start researching here ... https://www.suppressedweaponsystems..../bolt-actions/

IMO, it’s a waste of money unless you have play money to burn. Let’s say you drop $2500 on an integrally suppressed custom rifle. You can spend the same on a custom rifle and a separate suppressor that can be used on other host rifles in many other cartridge chamberings

I know nothing about integral suppressors but I built a bolt action Savage in 300 Blackout before Ruger brought out the ranch rifle. I like that rifle a lot but it was a slippery slope. Building that rifle "made" me buy a suppressor, then it "made" build a 300 Blackout pistol upper, then it "made" me do a Form 1 SBR, and so on. I had always heard that NFA stuff was addicting, they were right. I would sacrifice what little sound difference there might be and start with a stand alone suppressor.

I'm also in the camp of buying the suppressor separate from an integrally suppressed rifle. It gives you the ability to move the suppressor around on guns and not be limited to a single gun. Not only are they great for hearing but they reduce recoil as well. My Creedmoors are like shooting a .22/250. Catch them on deal and you could get one for rifles and pick up a .22 suppressor for free.

if a can is fairly close in quietness to an integrated suppressor...I wouldn't be adverse to one. Just plan on one suppressed gun.

Lmao 😂, suppressed rifles are more addictive than crack and heroin combined. There is no way you will own just one. Everybody should own a suppressed 22LR

Don’t believe me, just ask the others

22LR through a suppressor never gets old. Like a kid with a brand new bike, I just can’t keep from smiling.

Just buy the suppressor separately, you won’t notice the difference in sound between it and the integral can. Until you swap it over to another gun, then you will appreciate the versatility.

The main thing you will notice is the added length on a separate can vs an integral. Integral will allow you to run a shorter barrel without an additional stamp. Sound wise as a shooter you won’t hear much difference, especially in a 300blk bolt gun.

Not bolt action integral but about the only one that sees daylight outside my safe is my SBR 300 BO Handi-Rifle with a YHM Phantom

I have a internally suppressed .44 mag that cost around $2,500.00
I bought a Ruger ranch .300 AAC for something like $400.00 and paid $100.00 to have the barrel cut off to 10” and added a Suppresser for $600.00
They are both a lot of fun and about the same length.

"integrally suppressed" is basically just cosmetic. They put a sheathe around a barrel and a can

I have always respected TBA's work. This one is.357 Mag, but it's rad.

thanx for the info guys. good info.

I do agree that a .22 suppressed would be a neat ...toy. may get one.

think I will look into the ruger bolt action 300 BO and getting a suppressor to put on it.
