Forms for buying a used car

What all forms are needed when buying a car from a individual and they have the title, just want to make sure I do it all right, thanks

I just use a Texas 130-u. Last few vehicles I registered I just showed up with the title, proof of insurance and a completed 130-u and titled it in my name.

If it's a pickup you might need a certified weight ticket.
I did when I registered mine 1 month or so ago. It was from out of state

I needed proof of insurance to get an inspection.

Don't forget that when buying a used car you are also liable for taxes based on the sale price OR presumptive value of the vehicle. Enter the VIN in the State's presumptive value area. The taxes are based off the sale value OR Presumptive value which ever is greater.
