    Metal carport buildings

Looking at buying a metal carport style building. My plan is to put 8ft legs on it and have 3 sides enclosed. We plan on using it to store our mowers and golf cart during deer season. Thinking about a 18x21. But may go a tad bigger?

Has anybody ever bought one? Do u have any mistakes/ regrets?? Things u would do different? Is one brand better than another?

    Thanks fellas

Had a 24x41 with 12 foot legs for over 6 years. Never and issues. It covered my travel trailer at first. had it moved covered 2 sides... now I can store about 1000 square bales in it. I purcased another one for cover over the entrance to my conex building.

I built a 20x20 with 3 sides and like it also.

I would check with metal mart on a 20x20 kits and pit it up yourself. You use sheet metal screws to assemble

I have one of the 695.00 18x21 with 5' at corners. that was the biggest mistake...5' corners. Other than that, no complaints at all. I think I have had it 15 years now. I had it installed at my house and then 5 years or so ago, I took it down and moved it to the ranch. Set it up on concreted blocks and now use it for tractor storage.

Just had two installed here in east Texas, one for my boat and mower, and one over my camper. Used Tex-win buildings. Very happy with them and their price was very competitive. My only regret was not bringing the sides down a little further on the RV cover, it would have shaded the sides better. Several companies like Tex win have websites where you can model your size and options and it will give you a price. They are a great investment to protect your stuff. We also have a 20x20 at the lease for shade. Very handy.

My cousin has one for sale. It is 24x35 with a roll up door on the front. I think he wants $2000 for it. It will need to be taken down and put back up. Located in New Caney sitting on a slab.
