    Wood privacy fence

I need a new fence built in Pflugerville. Got a few prices, but thought I’d try the Green Screen for referrals. It would be my fence for sure and up to four other neighbors if the price is right. Please contact me for details at 512-415-9388.

    Thanks,
    Nick

I had Pflugerville fence do mine last year. They weren't the cheapest but quality work and materials. They used screws instead of nails and the metal poles are rated for 60mph winds and have a 10 year warranty.

What prices per foot are y’all seeing. Spoke with Viking fence over a week ago and still haven’t received a quote. Metal post as well.

The neighbor of one of my rentals used Pflugerville Pfence. GREAT quality. Worth a quote.

Oh man, I tried getting a quote from them and it was ridiculous. I submitted an online quote with them and Pflugerville. Pflugerville called me within an hour and was at the house the next day taking measurements and talking options. A week later I called Viking and asked about the quote I requested and they just pencil whipped something together on the phone without even coming out to the house. I think Viking was $24-$25 a foot. Pflugerville was $21-$22 if I recall.

I called Pflugerville fence and they were around $21/ft depending on the total size of the order. They did about 8 houses on my street a few years ago. They were good, but I just wanted to reach out for some options. Want to bring a few quotes to my neighbors to get a package deal.

                Thanks Justin,
Your fences look great. I will share your pricing and pictures with my neighbors.

I have had both treated wood posts and metal posts. I suggest the metal posts. JMHO.

You don't get hurricanes up there probably, I had metal post when Claudette came thru in I think 2004, bent them all over with fence still attached. Replaced with metal post again this time I filled them with dry concrete mix. Harvey came thru (much worse than Claudette) and my fence was still standing. Some post leaning but none bent. Just a fyi. Pressure treated 4x4 will most likely be what eventually fails if washed rock or similar material is not put in bottom of post holes for drainage before cementing. A privacy fence is a big investment, good luck.

Fencemaxx out of round rock did mine. Guys were prompt and did quality work 16$ a foot. Fence was still in quality shape when we sold the house last year.
