    TBH Kayak River Trip??

Seeing how many people have kayaks and are getting into kayaking, thoughts on doing a group river trip for a weekend?

I have yet to fish it but the Brazos would be a good place. Open to other ideas as well, would love to do a Devils River trip but might have to wait till next year for me vacation wise.

What are y'alls thoughts? I know just in the DFW area there's plenty of interest, just need to get a date solidified

Might be interested depending on when it is. I've been wanting to do that trip below PK dam down to 180. http://www.rochellescanoeandkayakrental.com/trips/

I'd like to suggest the weekend after July 4th. School is out so itll be easier on those of us who have kids. As far as location, something fairly easy would be best, again, for those of us who have kids that may paddle or ride. Maybe someone has the hook up with some private land along a river where we could camp halfway for one night?

If I had a kayak, I would definitely be in! This sounds like it would be a good time!

As nursejenn said, I figured summertime would be best for most as kids are out of school and I know a few interested that are teachers.

I figured a 2 day trip down the Brazos starting near the PK Dam. Rochelles website says it's a 19.5 mile trip. Based out of Graford, Tx

Open to any and all suggestions.

Just be careful... too many people and it becomes too difficult...

This is definitely a 2 day trip. We started our 9 mile trip at 7am and we got to our destination at 6pm. There was a little work involved due to the river being a little low. We had to get off and drag our kayaks for a few yards. I’m glad I took plenty of water and sun block.
