    Outdoor Kitchen Build

I have been working on building my outdoor kitchen for a while now but wanted to post my progress to date.

My back patio is nice and big but in the winter the North Wind keeps us from being able to enjoy being outside. So as you will see in the pics I am doing something about it.

I still have some work to do but its going good so far.

Looks like a good start. You need a griddle!

I have found a griddle option that will fit on the gas grill. Figured that would save me some space.

As I was scrolling down I thought "that idiot is going to smoke himself out". Then I saw the vent hood and realized I am the idiot!

          Looks good!

HA! Extending the wall all the way over was a change in the original plan. Doing so made a vent hood a requirement.

I am going to exhaust out the new wall using a 10" exhaust fan. I should have it powered up this weekend and will run a test before I put any siding on the outside of the wall. I may need 2 fans or I may have to vent thru the ceiling and the roof. I hope to not have to do that but will if it comes down to it.

              Good observation by the way!

Following closely! Thanks for posting. I have a pool being built right now and will do my outdoor kitchen once it’s done. Did you frame it up yourself or buy one of the premade kits? What brand appliances did you go with? I’m gonna do a pit, griddle, 2 burners, green egg and sink I believe. As well as an island bar.

Pizza oven and a smoker your done. That's a lot of construction for a gas grill.

Cool. Following for ideas once we start building

Easier with the metal studs vs. wood? I assume with the backer board it's getting stone
