    Seek thermal compact?

Anybody have one or have had a first hand experience with one?

Seems like a too good to be true gadget to me

I seen them on amazon and the reviews are not bad but image quality is poor. Looks like there is an extended range one that is good up to 600 yards. I been looking at the Flir and have been told that the Leupold is junk.

Seek quit making a lot of their handheld units and they are now making them for Leupold and re-branding them with their name. They also make the thermal unit in the LTO Tracker. They don't claim any of this but it's obvious if you look at Leupold's stuff and the old Seek stuff, you can see who's making it.

IMO the Leupold LTO Tracker has it's place for certain applications but the handheld Quest devices are awkward to use and I'm less impressed with them. Leupold does have a new LTO Tracker HD that will be released soon and I got to play with it at the SHOT Show and it looks like a nice improvement but I think it is going to be around $900 if what I was told is correct.

Here is my review of the LTO Tracker.
