    Didn't quite make it....

    Forgot to post this..

Saw this on our dove lease in New Braunfels a few weeks ago.
Poor thing got caught its hind legs caught in the wire. Coyotes ended up with a easy meal. On the bright note, that area is now called deer corner.

Looks like hooves of a foundered deer?

Sad deal. Terrible way to go.

I cut one out of the fence at our ranch and she could barely stand. I’m guessing she had been there a while.

cut one out of a fence many years ago. was a yearling doe. she could barely stand at first and then when she realized she was free, she hauled butt across a wheat field. felt good setting her free.

It had been at the most a week. We typically go out there every weekend . Couldn't believe it when I saw it.

Hate that. Nature takes its course.

These are the things all the antihunters need to see when they say how cruel we are for hunting.

My son and I rescued a doe from our feed pen. She was calm like she knew we were there to help until I grabbed her. Then the rodeo was on. Horrible way to go I'd say.

Found a little 6pt a few weeks ago that had gotten his antlers stuck in my feed pen hog panels. Tore things up pretty good but lost in the end. I had to break one antler off to get what was left of him out.
