I've hunted around Henderson all my life and rarely had problems. Had just as many out in West Texas.

Thanks yall. We have been on a little place currently with no issues. Just deer season. Would be nice for it to be year round. But hoping to find something or work something out with someone.Originally posted by BowSlayer View PostRusk County isn't in Alto.

You might try contacting the Kangergas, they own many, many acres scattered all over Rusk Co. They own the place where I hunt near Good Springs. They usually have a waiting list for their places , but you never know. Probably google them for a number. I don't have it.
I will tell you this. As long as you are a good leasee, and don't even think about damaging a pine tree, you can have the lease as long as you want it. They WILL NOT let anyone lease it out from under you. Good people. Good luck and if you find anything and need another hunter, I'm always looking to better my position. I'm trying to sell my place at Mt. Enterprise and will be out one place to hunt if I do.
