Trophy presented after game was only for ALCS, not the season MVP. Verlander was probably the difference for this series; Altuve could still win overall season MVP.

Joe Buck makes me sick with his man crush on Judge....

Judge batted under .200 in 3 different months of the season, Altuve batted .486 in August. There is no possible way that Judge should be MVP.

BUT, the NY and East coast bias of ESPN and their media hype it wouldn't surprise me

LOL Aaron Judge had higher numbers in every category besides AVG.

More runs, more HRs, more RBIs, higher OBP and higher OPS.

A high average doesn't mean MVP.

That being said, I still think Altuve should be the MVP, even if I hate the Astros.

Tell me, would you take Judge or Altuve if you were starting a team? It isnt even close.

Altuve, and he plays a harder position at that..

If Judge was in Milwaukee he would just be another HR hitter, wouldn't even be considered for MVP

Judge was the league strike out leader too.

Judge had an incredible rookie year but Altuve had higher numbers in more than just batting average.

Altuve. Even though he's a short dude who's plays for the Astros Which is why I said he should be MVP

WAR and singles. Not good enough for me

Again, I think he should be MVP. But y'all are acting like Judge sucks!

It's just really tough for me, a guy who hates the Astros and the Yankees. Go Dodgers!

Also I could've sworn the leader in SOs was Gallo or Rougie

Judge wins because he’s the leader of the popular statistical categories, unfortunately

                            Altuve-204 hits
                            Judge-208 strikeouts
Altuve will win AL MVP. Judge will win AL rookie of the year.

A huge Yankees fan but Altuve should be MVP with out a doubt. Both are great young players but Altuve had an incredible season. To me both epitomize what sport figures should act like both are class men and players.
