    Winter Forecast for Texas

Weather Channel just put out there winter forecast and almost all of Texas is above average temps and dry. On the other hand, the Farmers Almanac says cool and wet. Soooooo......I still don't have faith in weather forecasting one bit. They can't predict much outside of a couple days. I look at the weather on a Monday and it says cool for the weekend then I get on a Wed and it's 10-15 degrees difference in temp forecasts and or rain thrown in or out.

Guess they need a weather beatle like the Clampett's!!

I’m hoping for cold but I’ll bet we get warm and dry. We haven’t had a real winter in my part of Texas in quite a while. I hate it.

So what does this mean for the weather forecast for us non-persimmon experts?

Early acorn drop. Bucks rutting early this year. Persimmon trees full of fruit and dropping already. I bet a it'll be a good winter and hopefully an early and long one!
