2018 Polaris Crew 1000 or a Can Am HD10 Max? Any suggestions?

Well I'm in the market for a new side-by-side utility and I was looking between the ranger crew XP 1000 and the Can-Am Max XT hd10 which is also a 1000 anybody have any suggestions?

Kawasaki mule pro fxt, standard 3 year warranty and has alternator (not a stator). Read up on the DCT trans on the Honda before purchasing.

I bought a brand new 2017 Polaris 1000 crew 2 weeks ago.. I got a heck of a deal, but.... Got it home, drove it around the neighborhood and at 20mph plus, it was making a bad drivetrain noise.. Jacked the rear us in 2wd, put it in high and hit the gas to get it over 20mph.. Terribly loud noises coming out of it. The more I checked into it, the more I heard of several common complaints. It was very smooth and tons of power. Long story short, I returned it the same day.. I would jack the rear up prior to buying and make sure you don't have the same issue I did.

I sure like my can am, is the HD8 though. Main reason I went with can am is the speed cause I do have to drive a couple stretches of hwy getting to one of my deer stands. I can get that thing up to 60mph pretty quick. Have only had it a couple months but so far has been great.
A lease member has the HD10 he bought last year and so far he has had no issues. And he puts that thing through hell. Have been in that HD10 with it going 65, is a sweet machine. Riding in his was another reason I got mine. The ride on it seems a lot smoother than any of the others I have driven. Makes a big difference when chasing hogs through a field.

With those two options I'd go with the Can-Am.

We spent weekend before last in a HD10 Crew due to the Landowner's Ranger Crew 1000 being in the shop. The HD10 is very nice and very comparable IMO to the Crew 1000.

The main difference to me, and everyone else noticed it too, is the HD10 Crew has less leg room than the Ranger Crew. Both front and back. I don't know if it is overall shorter or because of the shorter nose, but there is quite a bit less leg room. Might be worth looking at if that matters to you.

Unless I'm looking at it wrong the ranger cost about $2,000 to 3000 less than the Can-Am so I'm not sure which way I'm going to lean I'm a go with a ranger

I'm a fan of Rotax motors so I would go CanAm or Honda.

Just get the one you like. Not the one someone else likes

My friends and I have polaris. They work great with no problems.

After spending some time riding in my buddies CanAm, that is the way i will go when i get rid of my ranger.
