    Bullet question

My local Wal-Mart has begun to have all kinds of ammo in stock. Practically unlimited .22 LR among other stuff that hasn't been available for awhile. I found a couple of boxes of American Eagle .223 .50 grain varmint/predator in JHP. I grabbed a couple because I've been having problems with foxes and coyotes getting my chickens and turkeys, but I was wondering if they would do ok on hogs. Any advice?

They should be fine on small hogs or large ones if ear holed. Fmj out of a 223 reigns supreme on pigs.
