Perhaps it's my white privilege blinding my point of view but what the hell are these groups out to accomplish? Maybe they should all spend more time raising and supporting children they have spawned rather than wasting their lives on less than trivial crap.

Why don't you reach out and ask one

I was a little baffled that White Lives Matter made the list but the corresponding Black Lives Matters...did not.

I can't imagine that there is more than a small handful of people in any one of these groups. Many are probably one guy with a website. By the way I noticed that list was compiled by the SPLC (Southern Poverty Leadership conference.) to say they are left leaning is an understatement. You don't have to be a "hate group" to make their list, you just have to advocate opinions they don't like. For example these groups are also on the SPLC "Hate Watch" list:

              - Family Research Council, a nonprofit, charitable and conservative Christian group and lobbying organization. It says its mission is "to advance faith, family and freedom in public policy and the culture from a Christian worldview."

-- American Family Association, a nonprofit group that promotes fundamentalist Christian values and opposes same-sex marriage, ****ography and abortion.

-- American College of Pediatricians, a socially conservative advocacy group of pediatricians and other health-care professionals. The group was founded in 2002 as a protest against the American Academy of Pediatrics' support for adoption by gay couples.

-- Family Research Institute, a Colorado-based, nonprofit that states it has "... one overriding mission: to generate empirical research on issues that threaten the traditional family, particularly homosexuality, AIDS, sexual social policy, and drug abuse."

-- World Congress of Families, a coalition that promotes Christian right values internationally and opposes same-sex marriage, ****ography and abortion.

-- Liberty Counsel, an international litigation, education and policy organization that says it’s dedicated to advancing religious freedom and protecting the sanctity of life.

Or that the KKK was used over and over again to make sure the Black Separatist groups weren't outnumbering anyone.

If they got that list from the SPLC it will be biased.

Seriously though what is a "General Hate" group? Bunch of ****** off enlisted men that don't like their Division Commander? Or like they just hate everyone. "Screw everyone man, I hate everyone and everything"

*** Jerp beat me to the SPLC comment.

A Facebook event page hosted by the Texas Confederate Militia says the Dixie Freedom Rally, scheduled for Sept. 2 at Woolridge Square, on 900 Guadalupe Street, will feature live music, guest speakers and a march to the Capitol and Confederate monuments nearby.

“You can bring any Confederate or U.S. Flag. It is open carry and also concealed handguns plus longrifles are permitted. Just go by the State Law,” the page said. “No racism tolerated or will be removed. (Let’s) show everyone true Southern Hospitality.”

Agreed. Like when people point to all 12 of the Westboro loonies as an example of Christian extremists
