    Best .30 cal suppressor?

I know there are a lot of factors, but if you had $1000 to buy a titanium .30 cal suppressor what would you buy?

Will be using it mainly on a .300 BLK, .223, and .308 Ar-10 down the road. Mostly for thermal pig hunting

I have a specwar and love it but I would look for a serviceable can if you want to shoot cast lead 300blk out. If you don't care about that then go with one you can put on anything. Mine will go up to 300 RUM and full auto rated so can take abuse.

Why this over a Omega 300? Just picking your brain

            7.62 Saker is not Titanium

The Saker is nice but heavy. I have found that I am only using my Omega lately on 30 cal. I love my 5.56 specwar but find the .30 a touch heavy and long. All I can say is I always seem to leave everything at the house except the Omega.

I will say that I am somewhat loyal to SilencerCo. The warranty cannot be beat, they even cover stupid, once.

This is also a concern of mine is weight. The Omega 300 is super light and makes a light setup with my 10.5 inch .300 blk

FYI - I decided on the Dead Air Sandman Ti 30 cal., and also added a Dead Air Mask RF suppressor. I paid $900 for both cans as Gamaliel Shooting Supply usually runs a special every 3-6 months. Currently they have the Sandman-Ti listed at $699

couldn't tell you about performance since I've yet to recv them

This was my original reason for the Omega, weight. I bought it to be the dedicated can on my 9" .300 / thermal setup. At this point most of my rifles will accept that can, I even use it on my precision 6.5 creedmoor. Hell, I shot a group in the .3's @ 300 yards with that suppressor and the ASR mount. The only reason I bring this up is because most will tell you Thunder Beast is the only can you should goto for precision rifles. The Omega is versatile, it comes with a direct thread adapter if you wanted to go that route. There is a picture of that group on this site somewhere. Point of Aim/ Impact changes very little given the weight of that suppressor.

Also have a Specwar 762. It is older "technology" but works very well and is built to last

I have heard good things about Dead Air, I think you will be a happy camper! I believe one of the owners used to be with SilencerCo.

Scott is just saying that if you plan to shoot lead through any suppressor it has to be user serviceable to get the lead out.

If you are shooting copper jacketed bullets this should not be a concern.

I have an Octane .45 that is user serviceable and can handle sub .300. I will tell you that the performance of that can is horrible on sub sonic .300. I thought it would be cool to have a pistol suppressor but it has not been out of the safe in over two years. Shooting a suppressed .45 is just awkward and the other cans that are designed for high powered rifles perform so much better.

Omega or Sandman from my experience which is limited

                              Have a ark30 also which isn't bad
