Leupold VX-3i LRP

Why am I the only one giving this any attention?

VX-3i is good glass to my eyes. Yes I have shot it next to VX-6 and out to 850 yards. Yes, VX-6 is slightly better is a plate or a deer @ 1000 yards going to know the difference?

Knobs are good sized with positive clicks and my existing VX-3's have tracked well with M4 turrets.

Solid zero stop.

MIL or MOA available.

Priced to compete.

I hadnt noticed this yet. Looks awesome. I love my VX3 4.5-14x40. Should be a great competitor to the shv line and the vortex scopes in that price range

One reason I haven't bought a lot of leupolds is because they lacked those things. Might have to look into this one.

edit: *lacked in their scopes that weren't significantly more expensive.

I haven't played with one. There was a huge difference in the previous vx3 and VX6 in glass.

There is a difference in VX-6 glass as compared to VX-3 no doubt but not enough to effect a hunting or long range target shot IMO.

Now the difference between my VX-3 glass and my PST glass is another story!

I like them. Clear, well built, not expensive compared to the quality. I have 4 VX3 scopes. I also have Zeiss scopes. That's the 2 brands I use. Both do the job well.

Well looks like there is a new VX5 HD scope now being offered in 3 or 4 models from Leupold. I wonder how it compares to the VX 3I

I got the 4.5-14x50 in yesterday. I mounted it on a 6.5 Creedmoor RAP last night. I'm dang impressed so far. Plan on shooting it this weekend Ill let you know how it does.

This scope is dang good. Probably the best one I own now. Clear and crisp. Excellent in low light. Elevation tracks perfectly. I'm sold on it.
