Bought what appears to be a 1928-1930 year model H&r 9 shot 22 break barrel. It needs a little work with the timing. Any suggestions on who can work on this old thing? Very limited info on the web about it.

You probably have an H&R Model 999 Sportsman. At one time, it was the finest firearm made by H&R (Harrington & Richardson). Does yours have a ventilated rib, and adjustable front and rear sights? I owned one many years ago, and even used it to win some pistol matches. I think it's going to be hard for you to find a gunsmith to work on your revolver. Where are you located - maybe someone will be able to recommend a good gunsmith. They are fun little revolvers, I also used mine for squirrel hunting many years ago.
Regards,
Dave
