    I have, I'll give you a bit of low-down.

-It's high fence, I'd guess the place is between 100-200 acres.
-The accommodations are quite modest, but I don't hunt to stay in a Hilton.
-The day works like this: you wake up, eat, sit in a stand for a few hours, come back, do some stalking, eat lunch, do more stalking, then sit in a stand again at night. I did have fun doing the spot and stalk, but didn't care much for the stand-time.
-They have dozens of elk and exotics on their land as well, none of which look to be in good health (unsurprising given the small parcel), but which you'll pay an insane amount for should you shoot one accidentally. So many elk showed up at one stand I was at that you couldn't shoot a pig for fear of hitting one.
-Some of the pigs are quite wild, others are almost semi-domesticated, you can walk right up to them and shoot them. Actually, I recall one of the guys I was in a stand with shot a pig about 20 yards from our stand with a 270, and the pig standing next to it didn't even lift its head.
-It can get very expensive very quickly. You pay a reservation fee, a guide fee upon arrival (in cash), a corn fee (cash), and then they charge you a dollar per pound to skin, gut, and quarter a pig. So if you shoot a 200 lb pig, that'll be $200. Then you'll be expected to provide a guide tip (which I found odd given that no "guiding" was provided, or necessary).

    I wouldn't return.

is this the one on hwy 97 north of Gonzales?
if so they have a website, or used to, and had some reviews; some of which were pretty comical.
this place buys pigs from trappers and lets them out onto said property, and it does look small.
I however have no first hand knowledge of this place other than they are up the road about 5 miles from me, and they usually have a few hunters waiting at the gate on weekend mornings.
        use due diligence.

yep, I think it's more for (lack of a better term) city slickers who want to kill a hog and have no other place to go. and it's easy pickins, if you can shoot.

I knew when I was looking at the website something was not right. No pics of the ranch or kills. I really appreciate you all taking the time to help me out.

i'm not trying to rag on the place, it's just not my kinda operation; but for some folks, it fits what they're looking for.
                to each their own

I'm not sure if the operation your referring to is this same person and operation or not but you may want to look into this.
