    Swapping kitchen sinks???

My wife is wanting to swap our kitchen sinks to hammered copper or a dark composite.

Currently we have a large main sink and a smaller vegetable sink. Both are under mount and stainless.

I doubt we could find copper sinks to match the original holes. So granite would have to be cut I assume. On the other hand, a dark composite sink may be easier to find in the same size and configuration.

Is this something that is possible, or should I just tell her no?

Is this a job I can do myself or should I for sure hire someone (I can install sinks, but will not cut granite)?

If I need to hire someone, who do I start with? Any plumber? Remodel company? Etc.?

If they are undermount my granite guys install the sinks, not the plumbers. As far as finding one to fit the hole, I would guess it would be shopping around?

And for what it's worth undermount sinks are epoxied in so it might be a pain in the rear

So...I should basically tell her no?!

The house is just a year old. She would like to swap the sinks, but not if is too big of a job.

If it were my wife I would be saying no...(at least that's what I put on the gr en screen, we all know who the boss is at my house)

That being said, if you can find a sink(s) to fit the hole, the hardest part would be getting the old sinks out... after that with some 2x4s and some clamps, and epoxy installing the new ones wouldn't be that tough
