    Krivoman blind question.

Doing a lot of research and finding a lot of information on here about the krivoman blinds. Just a couple questions for krivoman or users of his blinds

    1) I know the vent system would be the way to go, is there a screen on the vent to keep wasp/hornets out?

    2) do they have bottoms? If not how do you keep the critters from getting in?

    Thank you

vent is screened on the outside under the water shield. You can open and close vent from inside as well to cut off scent. No floor in the blinds. If you are putting on the ground, 2 horse stall matts work really well for a floor. 1 inch thick rubber is a very quite floor. they sale for about 35 buck each at Tractor supply. I dig out the ground a bit and set blind on ground, then I back fill dirt on the outside up the wall a bit. Do not have issues with critters.. Hope this helps..

Best blind that money can buy! You will not regret spending the money, I promise you! Krivoman is a great guy to deal with too!

How tough are these if you were to put one on the ground but have cows? Figure I would build a platform anyway just to be safe but just curious. Unfortunately the stupid cows are a necessary evil.

Do these have a lip on the bottom? If so on the large model what is the outside measurement to the flange

They are definitely great blinds. Very comfortable to hunt and Mitch is a great guy to deal with. The only issue is the window system does allow some water to get in during hard rains. If you heavily silicone caulk around the window inserts it helps tremendously, but due to the blind being round I have not seen any posts that describe what others may have done to seal the small gap where the bottom of the window doesn't fit flush against the inside wall. No big deal if on the ground because the water just disks into the dirt, but if elevated on a platform it does get v the carpet and wood deck wet. Mitch may have suggestions on sealing those small window gaps. Great lifetime blind to purchase and very easy to move if needed.

Mitch, May need another one or two. Anybody in the Dilley-Carrizo area carrying them. Was trying to keep from having to drive to Georgetown.

It probably depends most on which model of the vent system you got. His most recent version of the vent system that has 3 holes still covered with the metal screen is the best. The blinds sweat because of general condensation. I leave my vents open when I'm not there and I have carpet in the bottom of every one of my blinds and have zero issues. The foolproof fix for any type of window moisture is the deluxe blind. The windows cost more but the blinds are completely airtight. I have a deluxe and a regular and both of them are on towers and I don't have problems with moisture. I leave the vent open when I'm gone and close it when I am hunting.

I have read they are plenty big for two grown adults. the reason I am looking at them is to start bringing my daughter with me.

Wife and I bow hunt together in ours all the time. Plenty of room for two.
