My first trad hunt!

Well after a sleepless Night I walked to my stand to find multiple does bedded down between my feeder and my stand. They blew and ran off faster than I could turn and back out. Set up and was thinking I would see a thing now, but at 715 a doe walked to the edge of the woods ans stomped and blew and did the head Bob for 20 minutes and ran off. At 815 I looked to me left to see the biggest buck I have seen while hunting starting to walk out of the woods. He stopped at the edge and looked around for a bit and wasn't jumpy but slowly turned around and walked away. It was still a great time in the woods maybe this eve I'll have better luck!

Little to no wind but was in my face, took shower before leaving with Sent wash, sprayed down before walking to stand, sprayed down again at stand, sprayed tent down. Idk what it was but maybe this eve is better

This eve I had a doe come out at 20 yards and was on edge bad wouldn't come any closer but I think it was the same doe from this morning so we are getting closer.

Those does left something behind when they blew out of there. I'm guessing one of them peed a little and the buck smelled the nervousness in the air.
And that stomping doe, yes get rid of her. She is the dominant one and now knows where you set up and will have every other deer wired

It's a old doe and she didn't run off this eve just walked away. She wants the corn it will make her mess up.

Good deal!! Don't feel bad, I haven't had any luck either. Out of 5 folks on our lease all weekend nothing has been shot yet either.

This! I had one that ruined several hunts until rifle season opened...she was not safe from the .270 stomping and snorting at 75 yards!
