Skinny Sow

Headed out tonight for a smoker sow, but this old girl isn't the target (unless she is standing behind a good one). Don't know if the litter has sucked her down or if she is sick/injured, but she looks awful.

Looks to be a couple more in that group looking pretty poorly, you need to up the feed output on that feeder.

Yeah you really need to start feeding them more. Maybe some protein would help also.

Not sick, piglets draining her, I've killed sow like this b4...piglets take so much out of them sows, she will gain her weight back soon!

Sitting in the hide about 60 yds from the feeder, nice night, no 'skeeters. About 10 my buddy taps me on the shoulder and whispers "Man that was a big boar--did you hear the squeal?" Well, I don't hear well--but his daughter (the shooter) heard it and also saw the pig--standing about 15 yds away in the dark shadows under a tree. No shot, but the pig circled around upwind and came into the feed pen. I figure it is a slam -dunk,but she missed. :-(
